This project was delivered as a construction and installation collaboration, guided by the client and designer's vision to retain and repurpose key feature elements within the landscape. A central part of the brief was the reuse of existing materials, including distinctive crazy paving steppers and the property's original large metal gates. These solid gates, weighing approximately 250 kilograms each, were carefully repositioned within the garden to become a striking feature of the renewed space.
Another key objective was restoring the garden's health and vitality. Over many years the area had been used for storage and vehicle access by trades, leaving the landscape heavily compacted and many of the existing trees in poor condition. To ensure the best outcome, a professional arborist was engaged to assess the health of the trees and guide decisions on preservation and replacement.
With a strong focus on rebuilding a thriving ecosystem, the project incorporated soil improvement, considered planting, and thoughtful landscape construction. The result is a revitalised garden that restores greenery, improves the health of the landscape, and brings the client and designer's vision of a beautiful, living outdoor environment back to life.

The property's original 250kg metal gates were carefully repositioned as a striking garden feature, while existing crazy paving steppers were retained and reintegrated into the new design.
A professional arborist assessed every existing tree to guide decisions on what to preserve and what to replace, ensuring the garden was rebuilt on a foundation of genuine long-term health.
