The client engaged us to refresh and revitalise the garden of her recently purchased property, which had become overgrown and difficult to manage. Rather than starting from scratch, the brief focused on retaining and enhancing existing plantings where possible, selectively removing those that were struggling or not in keeping with the era of the home, and replacing them with more suitable options.
A key priority was creating a low-maintenance garden that could be easily managed either independently or with occasional professional maintenance. As the client divides her time between this home, another residence in Adelaide, and frequent travel, the landscape needed to incorporate durable plants and materials that would remain tidy and resilient with minimal attention.
The design also included a custom water feature and thoughtfully placed seating areas to encourage relaxation and enjoyment of the garden. All elements were carefully selected to complement the Federation style of the home, ensuring the landscape felt cohesive, timeless, and well integrated with the existing architecture.

Every plant was chosen to suit the character of the home, replacing overgrown or struggling species with options that complement the property's era while thriving with minimal upkeep.
A bespoke water feature and carefully positioned seating areas turn the garden into a space for genuine relaxation, not just something to look at from inside.
